Fostering a Healthier Community.
Serving Our Neighbors.
Investing in Meaningful Transformation.
Lutheran Foundation of St. Louis was established in 1984 with proceeds from the sale of Lutheran Medical Center. Since that time, the Foundation has awarded more than $95 million to 575+ churches and organizations.
The Foundation is committed to seeing the improved care of hurting people in the greater St. Louis metropolitan region. Through our grant support to area congregations and organizations, the Foundation acts as a conduit for Christians to model the healing love of Christ, thereby fostering a healthier community. Our investments help congregations and organizations deliver services that cultivate meaningful transformation—mind, body and soul.
Lutheran Foundation has a rich heritage of working with area churches and agencies to positively impact the unreached and underserved in our area. We invite the community to partner with us as we provide Christian support that heals lives and the community.
